Configure
Fatoora Settings (issuer, defaults, signer)
Exact fields on /t/{slug}/settings: environment, Client ID/Secret, issuer TIN and address, document prefix, receiver defaults, signer URL, Test ETA login, and Rotate key.
All of the following lives on `/t/{slug}/settings`. Only OWNER and ADMIN can save. Accountants can still create/submit invoices once settings exist.
Connection panel
At the top you see environment, whether credentials are configured, a Client ID preview, identity URL, and API base URL. Use Test ETA login after saving — it runs OAuth2 `client_credentials` with scope `InvoicingAPI`. It does not submit invoices.
Issuer profile fields
- `etaEnvironment` — `preprod` or `prod`
- `etaClientId` — Client ID from ETA Register ERP
- `etaClientSecret` — shown as “leave blank to keep” after first save
- `issuerTin` — your tax registration number
- `issuerName` — legal name as expected by ETA
- `activityCode` — activity code
- `branchId` — usually `0` unless you use branches
- `issuerGovernate`, `issuerRegionCity`, `issuerStreet`, `issuerBuildingNumber`
These issuer fields are validated when you mark a document Ready to sign. Missing TIN, name, activity code, or address blocks that step.
Defaults
- `defaultCurrency` (often EGP)
- `defaultItemType` (EGS or GS1)
- `defaultItemCode`
- `documentNumberPrefix` — next number is shown as `{prefix}-{YYYY}-{####}` (example `INV-2026-0001`). The sequence does not reset casually; imports can raise a floor if needed.
Receiver address defaults
Used when a customer has no override: country, governorate, region/city, street, building. Useful for Egyptian B2B defaults.
Local signer section
- `localSignerDefaultUrl` — default `http://localhost:7733`
- `signerApiKey` — read-only; copy into the desktop signer profile
- Rotate key — invalidates the old key immediately; update every signer PC
Save order that works
- Fill issuer + credentials
- Save settings
- Test ETA login until OK
- Copy signer API key into the local signer
- Create a small Preprod invoice end-to-end before going Prod
